Getting to know the level of students by giving them tasks. Asked them to write about themselves based on theirknowlwdge in 30 minutes time.

Reflection:    Most of them take time to think of what they want to write. Need more attention and more work on essay writing.

  • Berkenalan dengan pelajar
  • Memberitahu peralatan-peralatan yang mesti dibawa semasa pembelajaran geografi
  • Pelajar mesti menyediakan satu buku nota
  • Kerja kursus akandiperkenalkan pada bulan Februari (digubal oleh Kementerian Pendidikan (bahagian Peperiksaan)
  • Wajib untuk pelajar Tingkatan 3 dan tugasan dibuat secara individu
  • Mengenalpasti tajuk-tajuk yang diajar dalam Tingkatan 3
  • Pelajar diuji tajuk-tajuk yamg telah dipelajari dalam Tingkatan 1 dan 2


 

Refleksi: Pelajar amat aktif dan memberansangkan dalam memberikan jawapan. Kebanyakan pelajar ada potensi untuk mendapat "A" dalam peperiksaan PMR yang akan datang.

  • Getting to know the level of students by giving them tanks. Asked them to write about themselves based their own idea/knowledge in 30 minutes time.

Reflections:     1. Most of them still confuse when to use 'simple past tense, and 'simple present'

         E.g: I is born in Serian.

         I was born in Serian.

        2. Cannot use proper 'singular' and 'plural'

Skills:            Language For Aesthetic Use (Describe characters in a novel physical appearance)

Language Aspects:    As quiet as the grave (pg 7)

            As empty as a church (pg 8)

            The speed of an angry cat (pg 9)

            "ugh! Filthy brute!" (pg 10)

Skills:    1. Listen to, read, view and respond to literary works by:

    (a). Understanding and telling in one's own words the story and giving one's opinion

    (b). Recognizing elements in a story such as characters and setting and discussing how it relates to one's life.

    (c). Understanding other people's culture, traditions, customs and beliefs.

Specific Objectives:    By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

  1. Finding out meaning of un familiar words using contextual clues or dictionary
  2. Retelling the story in one own words
  3. Describing the place where the story took place and writing a simple paragraph on it.
  4. Describing characters in the story and writing simple paragraph on each character.


 

Activities:    1. Identify at least 8 out of 12 main ideas from the summary chapter One and Two in 20 minutes time.

        2.Rearrange the following events in correct sequence in about 8 out of 10 events.

Moral Values:     Kindness, Concerned, Human Decency, Sympathy, Pity, Justice, Civic Minded.

Teaching materials:    Textbook and reference Book (Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde)
