Objectives of the lesson
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
-          Talks delivered in public on formal and informal occasions.
-          Types of speeches – welcome speech/thank you speech/ farewell speech
-          To begin, you have to address your audience in correct manner. (consider who they are first before you address them) Examples:
-          The principal, teachers and fellow friends/ students…(at officials school functions)
-          Mr. Chairman, ladies and gentlemen…(at an official function or society meeting)
-          Yang Berhormat Datuk/Tan Sri, ladies and gentlemen…(if there is a distinguished guest)
Lesson Development
1.       Introduction (Brief Details)
-          Welcome all new students or greeting (Good morning/Afternoon) – school function
-          Rules and regulations in school to be followed
2.       Body/Content:
-          School uniforms – a must
-          No jewellery, colourful hairbands or other accessories
-          Wear only white socks and shoes
-          Proper attire for PE lesson
-          Being punctual – important – latecomers fined – caught more than three times – detention class
-          No eating in the classroom
-          No talking in the Library
3.       Conclusion:
-          Students not allowed to bring walkmans, handheld, telephones and comics
